WHERE HAS GARRETT HART BEEN FOR 20 YEARS??

Garrett was the first DJ to leave the fold when he headed westward to Wisconsin.  He became the program director of WAPL and his station won best small market rock station in the country in Rolling Stone magazine for several years under his helm.  Garret returned to Pittsburgh in 1997 as the Progran Director for WDVE and later Channel 97 WRRK.  

Here are some of Garret's career highlights:  

June 1987 - June 1997...Program Director & Operations Manager: WAPL (MAINSTREAM ROCK) Appleton, Wisconsin.   

Sept. 1997 - Oct. 2000... Program Director
WDVE (MAINSTREAM ROCK) Pittsburgh.  

April 2001 - Oct. 2002...Operations Manager
WRRK (CLASSIC ROCK) and WLTJ (AC) Pittsburgh.  

Jan. 2004 - 2006 ...Program Director
WRQK (ACTIVE ROCK) Canton. 

February 2007 - present  ... Format Manager
Sirius Satellite Radio
Now overseeing the music selection of Channel 5 (Sirius Gold) and Channel 6 (60's Vibrations).
Garret will also oversee live broadcasts from The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Museum.  


Garrett also has played a behind the scenes role in his nephew's band, a little group that got it's first airplay on XX as one of our "dare to be different" bands.  Maybe you've heard of them?  They're called The Clarks!  When Garrett moved to Wisconsin he played The Clarks on his station there also and between Pittsburgh and the midwest, The Clarks reputation grew and grew and they became one of the best known regional rock bands in America.
