WHERE HAS DJ BIRD BEEN FOR 20 YEARS??
Well, how in the hell are you? I live in Florida now, I am married for 7 years and have two beautiful daughters aged 6 and 4. I run a hockey website that somehow has become popular all over the world. Because it's mine, I write about things other than hockey, like the day WLIR went off the air for good. http://mt.hockeybird.com/archives/002080.html. I quit music sometime around 1990 (I did continue to work as a DJ in the clubs for another 4 or 5 years though) and became a hockey player, lucky enough to win 4 championships and I was the practice goaltender for the NY Islanders of the NHL. Now I run a small business here in South Florida and raise my girls. I'm so proud to have worked with so many talented people at WXXP.
