WRECKLESS ERIC
From
Newhaven, Sussex, England. Eric Goulden helped make the late 70's
a little
brighter and helped establish the Stiff music label with his music as
well. He has also recorded and released material undert the names
Len
Bright Combo, The Hitsville House Band, and Captains Of Industry.
Recent
years have found him accepting his legacy and recording and touring
once again
as "Wreckless Eric". Eric's hit "Whole Wide World" was memorably
used in the Will Farrell movie "Stranger Than Fiction". Eric
began a relationship with indy artist Amy Rigby, who he first met in
the 1970's and is the former wife of
The dB's Will Rigby. Amy, noted for her later in life musical
career, married Eric in 2008 and they celebrated by releasing an album
together on the newly revivied Stiff label! 1976-present.
