DANNY WILDE
From Los Angeles. Danny Wilde's long career began with his tenure in the influential new wave band The Quick before forming Great Buildings with Phil Solem. After the band split, he released a few solo discs before rejoining with Solem to form The Rembrandts. His greatest success came with The Rembrandts' hit theme to the TV show "Friends". When Solem departed, he essentially became a solo act again but kept the name as Danny Wilde & The Rembrandts. Wilde has always been a fan of power pop which has been his best claim to fame. 1978-present.
