THE WILD FLOWERS
From The Midlands, England. Led by Dave Newton (guitar) and Neil Cook (vocals) with David Atherton (guitar), Pete Waldron (bass) and Dave Fisher (drums). Newton abandoned the band after one album to form The Mighty Lemon Drops. The band changed musical direction and went for a harder edge, moving to California and continuing on until 1997. Cook then formed his current group Cold Water Flat. 1984-87/1990/1997.
