JANE WIEDLIN

From California.  The former guitarist for The Go-Go's.  Wiedlin was a primary songwriter for the band as well as secondary vocalist.  For a time in the early 80's she was romantically involved with Terry Hall of The Specials.  Together they wrote a song that would become a hit for not only The Go-Go's but for his band Fun Boy Three as well.   The song, "Our Lips Are Sealed" was a starting point for Jane's hits and when she quit The Go-Go's, the band fell apart shortly thereafter.  A series of solo albums followed with several alternative radio hits.  She has dallied in acting ("Clue", "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure") and fronted the band Frosted which released one cd.   Jane toured once again with The Go-Go's in their third reunion of the 90's.  Jane also is a huge supporter of both PETA and the kinky lingerie industry, having posed naked on the inset of her cd case for "Kissproof World" and promoting a friendship with pin-up queen Dita Von Teese.  1985-present.
