FEE WAYBILL
From Omaha, Nebraska. The lead vocalist of The Tubes, broke with the group for a solo career that just didn't happen. Always an actor on stage, he slipped easily into movie roles, turning up in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure", and "Ladies & Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains". It has taken Fee ten years between solo releases and he has since returned to The Tubes. In recent years he has starred as Frank N. Furter in stage productions of "The Rocky Horror Show" and emerged in a successful songwriting partnership with 90's wimp rocker Richard Marx. Fee has turned up on tribute albums to other bands including cover versions of songs by ZZ Top, The Beatles, Thin Lizzy, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and Pink Floyd. Hey Fee, a cover of a Tubes songs might be cool too! 1985/1996.
