WANG CHUNG

From Gillingham, England. Led by Jack Hues (vocals/guitar) with Nick Feldman (bass/keyboards). Many notable singles, the band started as Huang Chung. Wang Chung (26-99 A.D.) was in fact a Chinese philosopher who believed in empirical thinking. By 1991 the group was finished but they provided a new song in 1997 on their compilation album and have performed live as the paycheck is offered. By 2005, they appeared on television and are now hard at work on a new album due in 2006. 1980-89/1997/2005-present.
