THE WALLFLOWERS
From Los Angeles. Led by Jakob Dylan (vocals/guitar) with Michael Ward (guitar), Rami Jaffee (keyboards), Greg Richland (bass) and Mario Calire (drums). Hints of the family legacy can be heard throughout the band's music to pleasing but predictable effect. The sound is almost what you would get if you were introducing Bob Dylan mixed together with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Jakob's brother-in-law is Peter Himmelman. Jakob's brother Jesse Dylan is becoming known as a prominent Hollywood director. Ward (who quit the band after 5 years in 2001), was once a member of School Of Fish. 1992-present.
