VOICE OF THE BEEHIVE
From London. While formed in London, this group was a five piece with Melissa Brooke Belland (vocals) and sister Tracey Bryn (vocals/guitar) with Mike Jones (guitar/keyboards), Martin Brett (bass) and Woody Woodgate (drums). Woodgate had come to the group from Madness. In the 90's the sisters moved back to their native California without the other members but still are making great music, proven with their first American hit "Scary Kisses" in 1996. Their heritage can also be found in their father Bruce Belland, leader of 50's group The Four Preps. 1987-1996.
