VERUCA SALT
From Chicago, Illinois. This group was named for the bratty little girl who wants everything "now" in the film "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory". Led by Nina Gordon (vocals/guitar) and Louise Post (vocals/guitar) with Steve Lack (bass) and Stacy Jones (drums). Nina and Louise first met at a party held by mutual friend, actress Lili Taylor. In March of 1998, Gordon quit the group. Post reformed the band with a whole new line-up in 1999. The band's new line-up consists of Louise Post (vocals/guitar) with Stephen Fitzpatrick (guitar), Suzanne Sokel (bass) and Jimmy Madla (drums). Jones returned to playing with his old band Letters To Cleo before forming the successful American Hi-Fi. Gordon moved on to a promising solo career. 1994-present.
