FREUR
From Romford, England. Led by Karl Hyde (vocals) and Richard Smith (guitar). Formerly known as Freur, this band has been an ever-evolving part of the history of new wave and alternative music. They have traveled the road from new wave to industrial techno, rolling with the changes and reinventing themselves along the way. First hitting the charts in 1983 with their song "Doot-Doot", an ambient new wave ditty. They also released a few singles under the name Lemon Interrupt.
