THE TOURISTS
From England. The group that spawned both Dave Stewart (guitar/keyboards) and Annie Lennox (vocals) who later would form Eurythmics. With Pete Coombes (vocals/guitar), Eddie Chin (bass) and Jim Toomey (drums). Best known for Annie's cover of the Dusty Springfield classic "I Only Want To Be With You". The band began as The Catch and released a single as early as 1977. 1979-80.
