From Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A duo of twin sisters that began their career winning an amateur competition. Not important to their music, but the fact that they are also lesbians has brought them some attention. In a different reality this concept creates pop mistakes like t.a.t.u., but in this case the story is real and not hype. Tegan and Sara Quinn first began playing and recording under the name Sara And Tegan but reversed it to create a more unique sound to their title. 1999-present.
