Moe
Tucker was the original drummer of The Velvet Underground.
She retired into obscurity working many years at a Wal-Mart store in Georgia.
Deciding that she had enough of the mundane life that most people lead,
she took steps to reclaim her heritage.
In 1981, she released an album and again six years later.
Since then she has come back as a role model for independent artists and
each of her releases have managed to include some of her old bandmates
contributing to them. Moe's perseverance led to the impossible, a full scale
