TRIPPING DAISY
From Dallas, Texas. Led by Time DeLaughter (vocals/guitar) with Wes Berggren (guitar), Mark Pirro (bass), Philip Karnats (guitar), and Ben Curtis (drums). Loud guitar with slacker envisioned lyrics. In 1999, Berggren died creating a hiatus in band activity. A 22 minute sound collage, not attached to a formal album release, called "The Tops Off Our Head" became part of DeLaughter's new side project called The Polyphonic Spree. Since that time The Polyphonic Spree have become hugely popular as a curiosity in pop music and the likelihood of Tripping Daisy resuming as a band is slight. 1992-99.
