TRIO

From Germany. Led by Stephan Remmler (vocals/casio) with Gert "Kralle" Krawinkel (guitar) and Peter Behrens (drums). Using a $75 casio keyboard/calculator with a preprogrammed song built in, they created the memorable "Da Da Da (I Don't Love You, You Don't Love Me)". 16 years later, the hit would return again to the charts after being featured in a memorable ad for Volkswagon automobiles. Krawinkel has released a solo album and is a well known session musician. Remmler wasted his fortunes on all the usual rock and roll excesses. He retired from the business after an unsuccessful solo career and is now a social worker helping addicts and AIDS patients. 1981-83.
