TOTO COELO (aka TOTAL COELO)

From England. A group of singers and actresses that predated the Spice Girls by some 15 years in the silly pop persona department! They were: Lacey Bond, Anita Mahadervan, Ros Holness, Lindsey Danvers, and Sheen Doran. Lacey is now a snack shop owner but did release music under the name Lacey Coelo. Anita became Anita Chellamah and continued her music career with a cd release in the band Cherry Bombz. Ros is the daughter of well known British game show host Bob Holness. Lindsey continued a career in musical theatre, spending five years in various casts of "Les Miserables" and has released a solo album of show tunes. Sheen was and continued to prosper as a choreographer and eventually became a talent manager. The name of the group (Toto Coelo) is a neo-symbolic expressionist art term that describes conditions of extremity. Pretty complicated speak for a pop group! 1982.
