THE TOADIES
From Ft. Worth, Texas. Led by Todd Lewis (vocals/guitar) with Clark Vogeler (guitar), Doni Blair (bass) and Mark Reznicek (drums). Original member Lisa Umbarger, while still a child, was an "Ewok" in the movie "Return Of The Jedi". Lewis was apparently married once to Edie Brickell, a non-specific reference to this statement could be found on the band's website. Working at a very leisurely pace, the band took five years to complete their final effort and the record company sat on it for another two. Frustrations within the band because of this setback eventually caused the band to fold. Lewis then formed the Burden Brothers. After failing to ever meet the potential that their hit "Possum Kingdom" promised, Lewis restarted the band to give it all another try. 1991-2001/2008-present.
