TOAD THE WET SPROCKET
From Santa Barbara, California. Led by Glen Phillips (vocals/guitar/keyboards) with Dean Dinning (bass), Todd Nichols (guitar) and Randy Guss (drums). Folk based guitar pop, their name was derived from a Monty Python sketch. Phillips has led an active solo career as a singer/songwriter and after five years apart, the band reassembled for a five week tour opening for Counting Crows. If this reunion will be permanent is yet to be seen. 1989-98.
