RICHARD THOMPSON
From London. One of the great British folk artists who has managed to evolve and grow through each new album. Hits like "Tear Stained Letter" which name checks The Clash didn't hurt his image either! He began his career in folk band Fairport Convention (1966-1970) and then performed for many years with his now ex-wife Linda Thompson. He has since taken many other artists under his expert wings including Clive Gregson (Any Trouble) and Shawn Colvin. 1968-present.
