From Austin, Texas. Led by Carla Olson (vocals/guitar) with Kathy Valentine (guitar), David Provost (bass) and Mark Cuff (drums). Originally a punk band, by the time they released their first major label album they had changed into a standard blues rock outfit. Cuff and Valentine fell away from the band, Valentine quickly rebounding into The Go-Go's. The legendary Phil Seymour joined the band on drums and added much to their later sound. One of the indy singles released is an early version of Valentine's "Vacation" which would be radically polished and rewritten as a hit for The Go-Go's. Olson has gone on to a successful solo career and released collaborations with former members of The Byrds and The Rolling Stones. 1980-89.
