TALK TALK
From Tottenham, England. Led by Mark Hollis (vocals/keyboards) with Lee Harris (drums) and Paul Webb (bass). This band began as a strong new romantic outfit and slowly grew more complex with each new album. Their breakthrough hit, the self titled "Talk Talk", was originally recorded in 1977 when Hollis was in the mod-punk group The Reaction. Twenty years later Hollis released his first solo album. Webb and Harris have recently begun playing again for the first time in 16 years as back-up for Beth Gibbons (Portishead). 2004 saw a cover of their hit "It's My Life" (as performed by No Doubt) conquer the charts! 1982-92.
