DAVE STEWART & BARBARA GASKIN

From England. Dave Stewart (keyboards)(not the Eurythmics member) was part of the progressive rock movement with recordings dating back to 1968 in the various groups that he had membership in. Joining with old friend Colin Blunstone of The Zombies, they recorded a version of "What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted" that found success. Realizing he was on to something, he partnered with vocalist Barbara Gaskin to produce what they call "pop music for grown ups". Their version of "It's My Party" made it to number one in England! Their slow tempo, ethereal versions of classic songs are unique and truly mark them as alternative pop artists. 1981-present.
