SCOTT STAPP
From Orlando, Florida. Scott's real name is Anthony Scott Flippen. After the implosion of Creed, it was expected by and large that Scott Stapp's career would grow dramatically leaving his former bandmates wondering what happened. Instead, the opposite occurred when they formed Alter Bridge and quickly released a successful album. That, combined with criticism of massive ego complex from his former bandmates left Stapp in having to make not only a great album, but a classic album to outdo his former mates. His debut however was not that album. His religious beliefs intact, the themes of his music still present songs of faith, devotion and struggle. Stapp made headlines in 2005 not for his music but for his engagement to a former Miss New York USA and for a drunken altercation with the members of the band 311. 2005-present.
