SPIN DOCTORS
From New York City. Led by Chris Barron (vocals) with Eran Tabib (guitar), Anthony Krizan (guitar), Aaron Comess (drums), Mark White (bass) and Ivan Neville (keyboards). A unique American band that grabs from many styles including Southern bar boogie and the early 90's hippy sound. They fell out of fashion due to overexposure but with a few member changes have hung in there and are trying to stick around for the long run. Barron used to be in a band called Dead Alcoholics With Boners! The group sometimes plays incognito shows under the name Circus Whistle. Newer member Neville already has had a few solo releases and is the son of Cyril Neville of The Neville Brothers. In 1999, Barron was struck with vocal paralysis which put an end to the group but they rebanded and tour often now. 1991-present.
