From New York City. Led by Michael Doughty (vocals/guitar) with Mark De Gli Antoni (keyboards/sampling), Sebastian Steinberg (bass) and Yuval Gabay (drums). A strange combination of funk and alterna-rap rolled nicely into what they call a "super bon-bon". Their album Ruby Vroom is actually a take on the name Ruby Froom, daughter of their producer Mitchell Froom and his former wife singer Suzanne Vega. The band had a large underground following until they decided to split in March of 2000. 1994-99.
