SOFT CELL

From Leeds, England. A duo of Marc Almond (vocals) and David Ball (keyboards). Their reworking of Gloria Jones' "Tainted Love" mixed with The Supremes' "Where Did Our Love Go" proved to be an international success that they could not follow. Almond left for a solo career which proved to be successful. In 2001, the duo reunited and in 2002 released their first new material in 18 years. 1980-84/2003-present.
