JILL SOBULE

From Denver, Colorado. With a debut produced by Todd Rundgren, Sobule gained some small recognition with her song "Too Cool To Fall In Love". A second album produced by Joe Jackson was left unreleased. Her real breakthrough came with the gender flipping "I Kissed A Girl" in 1995. In 2004, Jill provided all the music used on the Nickelodeon cable television series "Unfabulous". She remains one of the more engaging singer/songwriters on the New York City scene, her adopted home. 1990-present.
