From San Diego, California. Kendra Smith (vocals) has been a member of L.A.'s paisley underground scene in The Dream Syndicate and as half of the duo Opal (which later mutated into Mazzy Star without her). Her solo career has been small but focused and worth investigating for her continuingly experimental talents. 1987-present.
