SMASH MOUTH
From San Jose, California. Led by Steve Harwell (vocals) with Greg Camp (guitar), Paul DeLisle (bass) and Michael Urband (drums). This ska/garage band outfit made a nice impression on the public with the retro sounds of "Walkin' On The Sun" which borrowed heavily from The Zombies' classic "She's Not There". Further pilgrimages to the past would be cover versions of old songs by War, ? & The Mysterians and The Monkees. 1997-present.
