THE SKIDS

From Dunfermline, Scotland. Led by Richard Jobson (vocals) and Stuart Adamson (guitar) with Russell Webb (bass) and Mike Baillie (drums). Noted for the single "Into The Valley", the band would break apart after only a few years. Jobson pursued a solo career and also created The Armoury Show with Webb. Adamson formed the popular Big Country but died in 2001, a suicide death after going on a month long bender. 1978-81.
