SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER
From Austin, Texas and now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Led by Leigh Nash (vocals) and Matt Slocum (guitar) with Justin Cary (bass), Sean Kelly (guitar) and Dale Baker (drums). A Christian band that wandered into the pop charts with their infectious hit "Kiss Me". The band's name comes from the C.S. Lewis book "Mere Christianity". The group disbanded in early 2004 so that Nash could concentrate on a family. 1994-2002.
