THE SWIMMING POOL Q's
From Atlanta, Georgia. Led by Jeff Calder (vocals/guitar) and Anne Richmond-Boston (vocals/keyboards) with Tim Delaney (bass), Bob Elsey (guitar) and Billy Burton (drums). As important a group to the Georgia alternative scene as were Pylon and The B-52's. Several minor hits in the 80's, they made it to a major label just a little too late in their career. Boston left in 1987, but is part of the band today. The original band stopped touring in 1992. After 11 years, the band have a new release available as of 2003. 1981-89/2003-present.
