THE SURF PUNKS
From Malibu, California. A duo of Dennis Dragon (vocals/drums) and Drew Steele (vocals/keyboards/guitar). Bored relatives of Hollywood personalities strike out on their own for some musical craziness. Steele's step-father is actor Gavin MacLeod (Capt. Stubing on "The Love Boat") while Dragon is the brother of "The Captain", Daryl Dragon of The Captain & Tennille fame. These days Dragon runs his own recording studio in Santa Barbara, California. Steele has started a new group called Secret Spot. 1979-88.
