THE SUNDAYS
From Manchester, England. Led by Harriet Wheeler (vocals) and David Gavurin (guitar) with Paul Brindley (bass) and Patrick Hannan (drums). Wheeler and Gavurnin took a five year break in the 90's to concentrate on raising their children together, coming back stronger than ever with their 1997 release. Oddly, this is a case where a successful band left the scene and came back strong, only to disappear once again.
