THE SUBURBAN LAWNS

From Long Beach, California. Led by Sue "Su Tissue" McLane (vocals/keyboards) with Frankie Ennui (Richard Whitney)(guitar), Vex Billingsgate (William Ransom)(bass) and Chuck Roast (Charles Rodriguez)(drums). Known for their sense of humor, this band scored a regional hit on the west coast with "Gidget Goes To Hell" in 1979. After the band broke up, Tissue tried a solo career and also appeared in the Melanie Griffith film "Something Wild". 1979-83.
