THE RUTS

From London.  Led by Malcom Owen (vocals) with Paul Fox (guitar), Vince Segs (John Jennings)(bass) and David Ruffy (drums).  One of the great second generation UK punk bands.  They had a great start that tragically ended when Owen overdosed on heroin, July 14, 1980.  The band continued on for a time after under the name Ruts D.C. and explored punk mixed with reggae and dub!  Paul Fox passed away from lung cancer in October of 2007.  1979-82.
