TODD RUNDGREN
From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Todd Rundgren (vocals/keyboards/guitar) is a genius of modern pop and rock. An innovator for over 30 years, his influence as producer and performer is beyond measure. During the new wave era his band Utopia shifted from progressive rock into power pop with no problem and was often played alongside the best bands of the era. As technology changed, so did Rundgren's image as he began experimenting with digital equipment. He made "A Capella" an album of nothing but his voice manipulated to become instruments. Later he was the first to experiment with interactive cd-roms letting the public remix songs for their own pleasure. Now he produces his music for fans via the internet! 1967-present.
