RUBBER RODEO
From Rhode Island. Led by Trish Miliken (vocals/keyboards) and Bob Holmes (vocals/guitar) with Doug Allen (bass), Gary Leib (keyboards) and Mark Tomeo (pedal steel guitar). Cowpunk from New England of all places! Originally called The Asphalt Cowboys, that group split and formed Rubber Rodeo and also The Peregrins. Rubber Rodeo used the images of country music and the repertoire but stamped their own new wave vision onto the music. A reunion in the 90's resulted in a yet to be released album. 1981-86.
