THE ROYAL COURT OF CHINA
From Nashville, Tennessee. Led by Joe Blanton (vocals/guitar) with Oscar Rice (guitar), Robert Logue (bass) and Chris Mekow (drums). Great 80's jangly guitar rock, which turned harder and bluesier before the group spilt. Each recorded release featured different guitar and bass players. The band name is slang for high grade opium. Blanton then moved to Florida and formed his current band, Door No. 2. 1986-89.
