TOM ROBINSON

From Cambridge, England.  Politically involved Robinson had been making music all through the 70's before scoring his big hit "2-4-6-8 Motorway" in 1978.  Robinson is also known for the early homosexual anthem "Glad To Be Gay".  Robinson's career hit a peak during the UK punk explosion and he continues 20 years later, releasing albums on a regular basis.  Hailed as one of England's great gay performers, he shocked everyone by declaring his bisexuality and having a child in 1990!  Robinson now divides his time between performing and as a radio dj for the BBC.  1975-present.
