RIDE

From Oxford, England.  Led by Andy Bell (vocals/guitar) with Laurence Colbert (drums), Mark Gardener (vocals/guitar) and Steve Queralt (bass).  Originally a shoe gazer band, Manchester style with heavy guitar wash.  By the end, they dropped the psychedelia for a more blues oriented approach that chased away their fans. Bell went on to form Hurricane #1 and in an unexpected move, joined Oasis!  The band reunited for a documentary shooting in 2002 and actually buried the hatchet which might result in new music from the group.  1990-96.
