JONATHAN RICHMAN
From Boston, Massachusetts. Wise guy Richman (vocals/guitar) led the original Modern Lovers through such great classics as "Roadrunner" and "Pablo Picasso". After the original Modern Lovers split, Richman adopted the name for his back up band before eventually dropping the name all together. As a solo act, Richman's whimsical tales have always had a die hard audience but he has forever remained a cult figure. He has attracted his largest audiences ever since appearing as the singing storyteller in the film "There's Something About Mary". 1974-present.
