Led by "Danny Boone" Alexander (vocals) with Mike Hartnett
(guitar), Foz
(guitar), Hano
Leathers (bass), and Chris Hood (drums). Originally a rock
and rap duo formed
by Boone and Jason "Brooks" Buford, and an early example of the
rap/rock genre.
What
made this duo unusual is that both participants were former
"rehab" patients and their music reflected all their personal demons
and experiences. A
few years of touring and then a split between the duo led "Boone" to
form
a new
five piece band with the same name. 1999-present.
