RED RIDER
From Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Led by Tom Cochrane (vocals/guitar) with Ken Greer (guitar/keyboards), Jeff Jones (bass) and Rob Baker (drums). Like Graham Parker's relationship with The Rumour and Neil Young's relationship with Crazy Horse, Red Rider already existed as a band when Tom Cochrane joined the group. Slowly they became only a backing band for Cochrane before he went entirely solo. Together though they created the classic "Lunatic Fringe" which stand as the landmark of their career together. The band returned with a new track for a compilation album in 2002! 1980-89/2002.
