As Dee Dee King, this Ramones guitarist actually left one of the
greatest
punk bands of all time to...RAP!
The results were laughable and after coming back to his senses
he
released some very Ramones-like albums in 1994 and 1997.
Dee Dee joined together with former bandmate Marky Ramone and
formed The
Ramainz in 1996 and released a live album in 1999.
As a survivor of an era that claimed many of his contemporaries
to drug
addiction or other accidental deaths, it is ironic then that Dee Dee
himself
died unexpectedly on
