THE RAILWAY CHILDREN

 

 

From Wigan, England.  Led by Gary Newby (vocals/guitar) with Brian Bateman (guitar), Stephen Hull (bass) and Guy Keegan (drums).  The group was named after the 1971 film of the same name.  Newby (originally from Australia) reactivated the band name in 1997 by himself.  In an interesting move, 2002 had Newby moving to Japan to live in his wife's home country.  1986-92/1997-present.
