THE PRODUCERS
From Chicago. Led by Kyle Henderson (vocals/bass) with Van Temple (guitar/vocals), Wayne Famous (Wayne McNatt)(keyboards) and Bryan Holmes (drums). An early M-TV favorite, their low budget videos and power pop sound made them very popular for a brief flash of time in music history. Henderson left the band in 1984, effectively ending their major label deal but the band persevered on without him, welcoming him back into the fold in 1991. His replacement for seven years was Tim Smith who left the band to join Jellyfish! 1981-2001.
