THE PROCLAIMERS
From Edinburgh, Scotland. Twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid lead this folk and skiffle duo. Their song "500 Miles" was an alternative hit in 1988 and again five years later in 1993 after being included in the movie "Benny And Joon". Their harmonies, full of the dialect of Scottish brogue make the unique sounds that have repeatedly drawn interest to the group year after year. They again received a career boost from a film when their song "I'm On My Way" was included in the animated movie "Shrek". 1987-present.
